Shelf Clearance: YA Giveaway

This competition is now closed and the winner has been announced at the bottom of this post.

If you're reading this, it hopefully means that you have seen my blog post all about my shelf clearance mission in an attempt to bring back some sanity to my life. If you haven't read it yet and are interested, then head over to my article Shelf Clearance, Kindle and Giveaways, but if you just want to win some stuff and don't really care why, keep reading.

I have this bundle of books to give away, which includes Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shephard, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephanie Meyer (both published by Atom), Bite Club by Rachel Caine (published by Alison and Busby), The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff, and Raising Demons by Rachel Hawkins (both published by Simon and Schuster UK):

To win this bundle all you need to do is look at the partial book cover below and identify the book and it's author, writing your answer in the comments below by midnight on Sunday 17th June 2012. The comments will be kept hidden until the competition ends when I will reveal the correct answer and the winner (so there'll be no peeking at what someone else has written).

Can you identify this YA book?

If you're finding it really tough, I will be leaving a series of clues about the book on the EBT Facebook page during the week starting tomorrow (Monday 11th June 2012) to help you along.

A winner will be selected at random from the correct answers and posted on here on Monday 18th June. The winner will have 14 days from the announcement to claim their prize or an alternative winner will be selected at random.

You can guess as many times as you like, but you may only suggest each book title once. For example, you can answer Mary Poppins, then enter again with Twilight and maybe a third time with Sophie's World (none of these are the answer, by the way) - but you cannot give any of those answers more than once in the hopes of increasing your chances of being randomly selected (sorry!).

So, here are some TandCs:

  1. The competition is open to all residents in the United Kingdom only. There are no age restrictions but minors under 18 years old must obtain parental permission
  2. Entry consists of answering the question above in the comments below. You may guess more than once, but you may not post the same answer multiple times by midnight in Sunday 17th June 2012
  3. Winners will be selected at random from the correct answers given and will be announced on this page on Monday 18th June. Thereafter they will be given 14 days to claim their prize, or another winner will be drawn at random.
  4. No cash alternative will be provided.
So, happy guessing. And remember, I'll be posting clues to Facebook to help you out during the coming week, so keep your eyes peeled!

Winner Announcement!

Sorry for the delay, but I can now reveal that I have chosen a name from the hat and the winner of this competition, who will receive the above book bundle is...

CONGRATULATIONS STEPHANIE. You are the winner of my YA Book Bundle Shelf-Clearance giveaway. Please email me on evenbutterfliesthinkblog AT gmail DOT com with your delivery address to claim your prize.

I just noticed your email address is present in your comment. The comments were only to be kept hidden *until* the end of the competition - let me know if I should remove it to protect you from spammers, or if you're OK with it to stay online.
